Lioni’s Burrata Con Tartufo received a Super Gold award and was named one of the World’s 62 Best Cheeses at the 2015 World Cheese Awards held at the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. A panel of 250 cheese experts from around the world, including Italy, France, Australia, Japan and the USA, judged over 2700 entries with 62 of the world’s best selected for Super Gold.

Lioni’s Bocconcini fresh mozzarella cheese received 2nd place at the 2015 ACS Annual Awards Ceremony. This prestigious award is given to cheeses and dairy products that have achieved technical excellence and possess the highest aesthetic qualities.

Lioni’s Ciliegine traditional fresh mozzarella cheese received 1st place in the fresh mozzarella category at the 2014 World Dairy Expo Championship Cheese Contest, a prestigious all-dairy national contest sponsored by the Wisconsin Dairy Products Association.
2014 World Champion Cheese Contest, Fresh Mozzarella Class
Lioni’s Ovoline traditional fresh mozzarella cheese received a Silver Medal in the highly competitive fresh mozzarella class scoring a 99.40 out of a possible 100 points. The World Champion Cheese Contest is the largest international cheese and butter competition in the world. Expert judges from around the world evaluated more than 2,615 cheeses from 22 countries to evaluate each cheese on flavor, body, texture, salt, color, finish and packaging, as well as other technical attributes.

Burrata Con Panna
Lioni’s Burrata Con Panna was awarded a gold medal at the World Cheese Awards 2012 held at the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. Run by the UK’s Guild of Fine Food, it is the largest and most esteemed worldwide competition of its kind. The competition included 2,781 cheeses from 30 countries judged by cheese experts from around the world including the USA, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Greece, South Africa, Portugal and Russia.
