Fresh Mozzarella

A traditional cheese that is made from 100% whole cow's milk and is all natural. Delicate, moist, smooth and hand wrapped. Always fresh and made to order, this cheese has a 21 day shelf life from the date of manufacture.

Fresh Mozzarella in Water

Delectable and always fresh, this 100% cow's milk mozzarella is packaged in purified/filtered, preservative and additive-free water. Snow white in color, this cheese is lightly salted and has a smooth luscious texture.

Smoked Mozzarella

Gently smoked with all natural wood chips adds a nice smooth aroma and abundant taste. Wonderfully intense and rich in flavor, this all natural cheese is manufactured daily with a 30 day shelf life.

Dry Mozzarella

A semi-soft cheese with a mellow taste. Derived from the freshest milk and has a spectacular light taste. This premium cheese comes in two hand forms-scamorza (hanging) and primo sale (basket). Shelf life is 30 days from the date of manufacture.

Fresh Ricotta

Our ricotta resembles cottage cheese but has a finer, lighter texture and a pleasing cooked milk flavor. Ricotta is not a cheese but a by-product of cheese making. It is made from the whey after it has been separated, by heating from the curd. To make ricotta, the whey is reheated (ricotta means recooked) and the ricotta then forms on the surface. The curd is then used to make other cheeses.

Lioni fresh ricotta is produced the "old-fashioned" way - hand dipped. Most companies use machines to strain the cheese producing a thin watery product. Lioni ricotta is hand scooped which maintains the integrity of the chunks and allows for the production of a truly premium, light, delicate and moist, chunky style ricotta. Fresh ricotta is a highly perishable cheese and should be refrigerated at all times (35F-40F). Shelf life is 11 days from the date of manufacture.

Mozzarella Di Bufala

Creamy with a subtle tart tinge, this romantic cheese has a splendid smooth finish. This highly demanded and perishable traditional Italian mozzarella is imported within 48 hours of production from Italy and should be enjoyed shortly thereafter. Shelf life is 21 days from the date of manufacture.

Mozzarella with Prosciutto or Pepperoni

Lioni's premium fresh mozzarella with either prosciutto or pepperoni are hand rolled then cut. Bursting with flavor - a hint of sweetness, a delightful blend of meat and cheese that are all preservative and additive free.
